$4.50

We have new stock for Bekah’s Bookshelf and will be updating our shelves over the next day or two. Here’s an idea of some of the titles you can expect to see added this week:

  • Good Things for Organizing
  • The Absorbent Mind
  • Redeeming the Season
  • Madeline and the Gypsies
  • What Your Second Grader Needs to Know When

We’ve added a bunch of new books to the site this past week. Here’s a sampling:

  • Anne of Green Gables
  • Love You Forever
  • Green Eggs and Ham
  • Parenting with Love and Logic
  • The Trumpet of the Swan

Remember, if you don’t see what you’re looking for, send us an e-mail and we’ll add your wishlist to our watch list.

Just added: Angelina Ballerina & Angelina and the Princess. Both are hardback books, priced at just $2.00. These would be a great gift for the start of the dance season. You can find them listed in the fiction section of the site.

I’ve got three new Rachael Ray cookbooks in. These are barely-used, possibly even new, but they’ve been bounced around a little so I listed them as in Excellent Condition. At just $2 each, these are a fabulous deal – either for yourself or for gifts!

(The cookbooks are listed on the non-fiction page.)

I just added a new batch of “living books” to the non-fiction section, including three that would be great for a unit study on the middle ages:

  • Medieval Society
  • Children and Games in the Middle Ages
  • Medieval Fashion coloring book

Also new today are If Your Name Was Changed at Ellis Island, If You Lived at the Time of the American Revolution, and Monet.

The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein

Hardback with dust jacket. Copyright 1964.

Has bookplate on inside front cover and room number written on flyleaf. Otherwise in excellent condition.

$4

Just added to the non-fiction page:

  • The Best Book of Weather
  • Weatherwatch
  • Weather & Climate

Are you studying animals? Just added to the site: Food Chains.

This book explains the difference between carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores, examines the food chains in various habitats, and includes a short glossary. Little to no mention of evolution.

Congratulations to Christina, the winner of a $10 credit to Bekah’s Bookshelf! You should have received an e-mail from me with the details.

We’ll have another giveaway when we reach 100 Facebook fans, so be sure to share us with your friends!
